Paulson wins Iowa Amateur

Iowa State junior golfer Kristin Paulson won the Iowa Women’s Amateur Championship at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City last week.
Paulson, an Ottumwa native, won by five shots with a three-round tally of 217 (76-71-70).
Paulson became the second ISU golfer in the last three seasons to win the Iowa Amateur. Pennapa Pulsawath, who graduated in the spring, won the title in 2008.
