ISU to play Baylor at Big 12 tournament

Iowa State, seeded No. 9, will play No. 8 seed Baylor at 5 p.m. Friday in the first round of the Big 12 Conference softball tournament at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Okla.

The Cyclones (26-28, 4-14 Big 12) lost a pair of games to the Bears (27-24, 6-12) last month in Waco, Texas.

The ISU-Baylor winner advances to Saturday’s 1:30 p.m. quarterfinal against top-seeded Texas.
