4-run inning powers Baylor

The Baylor softball team finished a sweep of Iowa State Sunday, scoring four runs in the fifth inning of a 4-1 win in Waco, Texas.

The Cyclones (25-23, 3-9 Big 12) got on the board in the second inning, as Heidi Kidwell brought in Courtney Wray with a sacrifice fly. Each team had six hits in the game, but the Lady Bears (26-19, 6-8) capitalized in the fifth inning, scoring on a two-run single and a two-run home run.

Iowa State hosts a doubleheader with Missouri Wednesday, beginning at 2 p.m.
