ISU softball blasts past St. Louis

The Iowa State softball team defeated St. Louis 7-2 on Friday as Heidi Kidwell and Bianca Lopez combined to go 4-for-4 with five RBIs.
Lopez is hitting .368 over her last seven games and also had three runs. The Cyclones scored four runs in the second inning and cruised to the win.
ISU (16-12) will face St. Louis again at 11 a.m. today, this time as part of the Billiken Invitational.
