Mass makes A2 team

Iowa State libero Ashley Mass was named to the U.S. Women’s National A2 roster on Wednesday.
The A2 program is scheduled to train May 24 to 28 in Tempe, Ariz. before splitting into two squads to compete in the open division of the 2010 USA Open National Championships, which will be held in Phoenix from May 29 to June 1.
Mass was a first-team All-American in 2009. She led the Big 12 with 5.49 digs per set.
