ISU loses to Arkansas, beats Minnesota

The Iowa State softball team split a pair of games Sunday on the final day of the Metrodome Classic in Minneapolis.

In the opening game, the Cyclones lost 4-2 to Arkansas before rebounding for a 6-5 win over Minnesota.

In the loss to the Razorbacks, ISU's Carleigh Berry went 3-for-4 at the plate.

In the win over the Gophers, Heidi Kidwell, Kelsey Kidwell and Courtney Wray each had two hits for the Cyclones (3-3), while Rachel Zabriskie (3-3) earned the pitching win.
